What the future holds

A.I. Not the movie, but the concept. In a really small nutshell, Artificial Intellingence means a computer or other machine could go beyond just mere computations and have the ability to learn adapt it's own methods of performing operations. For example, your refrigerator will notice that your son has brought a couple of friends from school because the three of them keep grabbing sodas from it. The refrigerator would then alert you that dinner may need to be larger tonight and that you should pick up more milk. A.I. is an area in which we think you'll see some major developments. But we abviously can't predict the future. If we could, we'd be billionaires enjoying early retirement on some remote island with Wi-Fi.
